Description
Creating truly safe schools means ensuring that every student, educator, and community member feels protected, heard, and valued. This panel brings together experts and advocates to discuss inclusive school safety through the lens of responsiveness, representation, and equity. Led by Michele Gay, the conversation will explore best practices for adapting crisis prevention and intervention strategies to meet the needs of diverse communities, including urban districts, tribal and indigenous populations, and students with disabilities. Panelists will share insights on working with cultural liaisons, tailoring interventions to specific communities, and fostering collaboration to create safer, more inclusive learning environments for all.
