I am recently retired as a high school principal from Michigan. Over the course of my career in education, I've worn various hats, including a seven-year stint as a high school math teacher and 26 years in school administration. My roles have spanned from Athletic Director and Assistant Principal to Building Principal, serving student populations ranging from 400 to 1500. In my final year before retirement, I had the opportunity to craft our District Reunification Plan and transition the district to the SRP protocols. This experience led me to a one-year position in Crisis Planning in the summer of 2022, during which I had the privilege of working closely with the I Love U Guys Foundation staff. It was such a rewarding experience that I decided to continue in this line of work, assisting other districts across the country in implementing and developing their safety protocols and reunification processes.
