                                                    Kristi is from Waverly, Tennessee, a small town located approximately 70 miles west of Nashville.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1998.  While teaching high school, she pursued her Master of Arts in Education degree at Austin Peay State University, followed by a Specialist in Education degree in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee State University.
Kristi currently resides in McEwen, Tennessee and is employed by the Humphreys County Department of Education, where she serves as the Coordinated School Health and School Safety Supervisor. Mrs. Brown’s professional passion involves serving as a champion for the health, safety and overall well-being of children across the state of Tennessee. This passion has allowed her the opportunity to serve as a Tennessee School Safety Mentor for the past seven years. In this role she has had the privilege to work with school districts across the state to assist them in their efforts to strengthen their local school safety and security efforts through implementation of Best Practices.
