In this module, Michele Gay, co-founder and executive director of Safe and Sound Schools, and Ben Fernandez, lead school psychologist, will introduce attendees to Pathways for Prevention. Developed by Michele, Ben, Dr. Melissa Reeves, Dr. Stephen Brock, and Dr. Amanda Nickerson, the program reviews the constructs of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), explores the application of MTSS for the prevention of school violence, and provides real-world illustrations and examples of MTSS as a model for prevention, intervention, and postvention.
