Description
On August 21, 2021, up to 15 inches of rain fell over a 6-hour period, resulting in catastrophic and deadly flash flooding that resulted in twenty fatalities and hundreds of homes destroyed in Humphreys County, Tennessee. The flooding also caused the complete loss of two schools and major damages to the school district office complex and all of their critical infrastructure. This panel will feature members of the school and community leadership team who will share their story of resilience, remembrance, and recovery.
