Evan Kirksey has been fighting for disability rights and safety his entire life. As a man with Cerebral Palsy, he has been dedicated to ensuring that all individuals are protected in the case of emergency situations. He received his Bachelors Degree in Speech Communication and Theatre Education, and his Masters Degree in Communication. Thus, school safety has always been a priority. In his Bachelors program, he created the "Plan, Prepare, Protect Campaign for Safety and Inclusion." He is currently working on his PhD in Communication with emphases in Disability Studies and Organizational Safety.
