Healing Starts Early: The Role of Early Intervention in Addressing Student Trauma and Mental Health Concerns
Description
While addressing mental health crises is crucial, early intervention must also be prioritized. Students facing trauma and mental health challenges often show early warning signs. By equipping school staff with the knowledge to recognize these signs and respond appropriately, we can provide timely support at the initial point of concern. Ensuring students receive the help they need earlier prevents mental health challenges they are facing from escalating further—enabling students to access critical support and resources well before reaching a state of complete distress. Â
Join this session to:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of student trauma and mental health concerns.
- Identify the early warning signs exhibited by struggling students.
