Although the summit registration fee is non-refundable, transfers are permitted. Transfer requests must be received by no later than November 18, 2024.  All transfer requests should be emailed to summit@safeandsoundschools.org and must include the following details: 

  • Confirmation number
  • Email address used to register for the summit
  • Name of person registration is being transferred to
  • Email address for person registration is being transferred to

The Eastern WV Safety Summit is organized by Safe and Sound Schools in collaboration with multiple Berkeley County, WV departments and is made possible by funding from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (DHS-22-TTP-132-00-01).

Law enforcement members attending the summit are eligible to receive in-service credit hours upon confirmation of attendance. There will be a sign-in sheet at the conference each day.

The closest airports are Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Reagan National Airport (DCA), which are approximately 60 and 90 miles from the venue, respectively.
