Judith Norman is an educator, trainer, coach, and clinical supervisor. She is a co-founder and the lead trainer at the Synergetic Education Institute. She is licensed as both a Professional and a School Counselor and has worked at the intersection of education and mental health for over 20 years, developing SEL and trauma-informed programming across various levels of school functioning.

Judith’s experience ranges from school-based support to leading district-wide efforts aimed at advancing social-emotional wellness and behavioral health in school districts, to implementing Department of Education state-wide initiatives, with district and state-wide training for educators, school-based mental professionals, and educational leaders. In addition, Judith trains and supervises clinical and school-based mental health professionals and speaks and consults internationally,

Judith is a registered play therapist supervisor and is a certified synergetic play therapy® supervisor and teacher. Judith is a Parent Educator, Certified in EMDR Therapy, and has extensive training in understanding and working with trauma, having co-authored a chapter in the soon-to-be-released book, “The Play-based and Expressive Therapies Treatment Planner: A Guide to Working with Children and Adolescents."
