Julie Weight went to Weber State University and graduated with a BS in criminal justice in 2017. She was hired on with the Utah Highway Patrol and was assigned to Salt Lake City. Nearing the end of her probationary period she was able to switch assignments to the State Bureau of Investigation in 2019 where she was assigned to the major crimes and threats unit. Julie continues her specialization in threat assessment, analysis, and management . She is currently a task force officer with the Joint Terrorism Task Force with the FBI. She currently is the training corporal with the Threat Management Unit . She is a certified master trainer through the Department of Homeland Security to teach behavioral threat management and assessment.
