COVID-19, Beyond the Pandemic: Building Resilience in the Face of Ongoing Challenges
Description

COVID-19 left a lasting mark—loss of life, opportunities, and time. But its impact didn’t end with the pandemic. Today, we face the ripple effects: rising suicide and overdose rates, growing treatment demands, stigma, prolonged grief, and widespread fatigue across our systems of care. The landscape has changed, and so must our response.

This interactive workshop explores what these shifts mean for future generations and for professionals in the field of prevention, treatment, and recovery. Together, we’ll address the challenges while equipping ourselves with strategies to adapt, lead, and inspire.

In this session, you will:

  1. Understand how COVID-19 has impacted youth and anticipate future trends

  2. Gain tools to meaningfully engage both youth and adults in prevention and intervention efforts

  3. Apply the principles of GRIT—Gratitude, Resilience, Interest, and Truth—to your work and life

  4. Strengthen your leadership to empower others in your community and field
