Nearly 90% of threats are communicated digitally. Digital leakage can be a cry for help, a sign of inner conflict, or boasts that may look empty, but express a serious threat. It is one of the most important clues that may precede an adolescent’s violent act. Digital leakage is the missing link for Safety and Threat Assessment Teams to identify individuals on the pathway to violence.
