Robert Tuck just finished his fourth year as Superintendent of Butler County Schools. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Studies from Western Kentucky University.  He also received his Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Rank I Administrative Leadership Certifications from Western Kentucky University.  A native of Butler County, Robert Tuck is finishing his twenty-sixth year in education. During this time, he served as a high school teacher, coach, middle school assistant principal, middle school principal, instructional leader, DPP, and assistant superintendent. Under his leadership, the district has focused on vertically and horizontally aligning the district’s curriculum from preschool to career pathways.  Butler County Schools is a leader in making their students transition ready.  During the 2022-23 school year, the district developed a Portrait of a Graduate and aligned its strategic plan to kick off in the 2023-24 school year.  This work has helped to promote the district’s mission and vision that focuses on three areas:  Building Character and 21st Century Skills; Collaborating with Families and the Community; and Shaping the Next Generation of Local and Global Citizens.
