Description
This presentation will highlight the U.S. Secret Service National Threat Assessment Center’s (NTAC’s) recent efforts in targeted school violence prevention. It will include an overview of NTAC’s latest research on incidents of targeted school violence and averted plots in K-12 schools, operational guidance for development of behavior-based threat assessment programs, and available resources to strengthen proactive intervention efforts for students who elicit concern in others.
