Carrie Trent has 18 years of experience in the field of education. She has earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Carson Newman and an Ed.S. from LMU. She is currently the Supervisor of Student Support Services in Jefferson County Schools and has previously worked as a school administrator and a school counselor. Prior to being the education, Mrs. Trent worked with the severe and persistent mentally ill adult population in a community mental health setting. In the position of Supervisor of Student Support Services, school safety and emergency operations planning is a top priority. Outside of the work setting, Mrs. Trent is focused on spending time with her husband and two children who also attend Jefferson County Schools.
