Nancy Mango is a retired Bright Futures Frederick/Winchester Coordinator - who served as a social worker for Frederick County Public Schools since 2001. Over the past 35 years, she has dedicated her life to working with adolescents in crisis, as a Family Support Specialist, a Truancy Officer, Middle School Coordinator for Substance Abuse/Violence Prevention, a Juvenile Detention Center supervisor, and Crisis Counselor.

Nancy is originally for Minnesota and currently resides in Winchester Virginia with her husband. She has a 25-year-old daughter who is a Case Manager for an Abused Women's Shelter. Nancy is very involved in her community and has been a Girl Scout for over 30 years both as a scout and a leader and trainer in the area of outdoor skill and archery.

Nancy holds a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Highlands University - Las Vegas, New Mexico, and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) From the University of Tennessee - Knoxville, Tennessee.
