The School–Caregiver Compact is a written agreement outlining how families, the school staff, and students will distribute shared responsibilities for improving student academic achievement. This tool helps further the School-Families-Community Partnership Model to develop reciprocal partnerships to help each child achieve high academic standards. While the requirement for these compacts originates in identified Title I schools, outlining and reviewing shared responsibilities is an excellent practice for all schools seeking genuine and meaningful collaborative relationships.
