First and foremost, James is a husband and a father of three amazing young men. Second, he is an eighteen-year industry veteran serving door security and safety professionals, as well as a twenty-year Army veteran, retired as of 2023. Serving as the executive director for the Door Security and Safety Foundation and the Door and Hardware Institute, James has the privilege of working closely with some of the most influential organizations that drive advocacy towards providing the safest environment possible for our greatest asset, our children. He enjoys everything outdoors but for those out looking for him, you will usually find him on the golf course.
