This session will introduce attendees to Pathways for Prevention and demonstrate how MTSS can be applied across all levels—prevention, intervention, and postvention—to support student growth, wellness, and school safety. Through real-world illustrations and expert insights, participants will gain actionable strategies to strengthen their school’s systems of support and build more resilient communities. Pathways for Prevention, a signature program of Safe & Sound Schools, provides a proactive, multi-tiered approach to preventing and responding to violent behaviors in schools. Rooted in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), this framework helps schools create safe learning environments by implementing universal prevention strategies alongside targeted and intensive interventions.
