Brian Gard currently serves as the Director of Safety for National Heritage Academies (NHA). In this role, he leads safety initiatives for over 100 K-12 schools in 9 states. He also serves on the School Safety Commission in Michigan and for the North Carolina School Safety Advisory Council. He was previously a runner up for Director of the Year award from Campus Safety Magazine. Prior to his career at NHA, he served as a police officer in multiple areas ranging from the tactical team to the training bureau.
