Chelsea is a School Safety Specialist at Region 7 Education Service Center, where she supports local education agencies (LEAs) in meeting Texas Education Agency (TEA) statutory requirements related to school safety. She provides technical assistance and training to develop effective, compliant School-Based Behavioral Threat Assessment (BTA) teams and supports districts in utilizing Sentinel for accurate documentation and reporting. Chelsea holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology and brings over a decade of experience in education across diverse settings and grade levels, including special education and service as an Educational Diagnostician. Her professional background also includes work in community mental health and with the Texas Correctional Office on Offenders with Medical or Mental Impairments (TCOOMMI), giving her a strong foundation in both behavioral health and educational systems. Chelsea is also a member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals.
