Brittany Cronin serves as the School Safety and Security Specialist at Education Service Center Region 11. Brittany is a Certified Master Trainer in Behavioral Threat Assessment through the National Threat Evaluation & Reporting (NTER) Program Office within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Additionally, she is an active member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) and serves as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Threat Assessment and Management. Brittany received her Master of Applied Psychology with an emphasis on Neurocognition from Angelo State University. She has worked in public education for ten years, eight of which were spent in special education. Drawing on her academic background and professional experience in education and behavioral threat assessment, Brittany is passionate about translating research and best practices into practical strategies that strengthen school safety and support effective multidisciplinary threat assessment teams.
