With over 17 years of experience in education, I am a passionate and visionary leader who strives to create a culture of belonging, resiliency, and sustainability for students, staff, and families. I currently serve as a Manager for Public Safety in the Beaverton School District. I previously served as the Associate Director of Risk Management and School Safety at EUGENE SD 4J, where I oversaw the district's policies, practices, and programs related to prevention, intervention, and postvention of various risks and challenges.
I have a strong background in suicide prevention, behavioral threat assessment, sexual incident response, and substance use and misuse programs, as well as in training, educating, and advocating for mental health and wellness. I am pursuing my Doctor of Education degree at the University of Oregon, with a focus on threat management. My mission is to empower and support schools and communities in fostering a safe, healthy, and positive learning environment for all.
