Tracie’s connection to Bright Futures began in 2009 when her school district became the first Bright Futures affiliate. She served as the coordinator for several years, fitting in the responsibilities of starting and growing the program with her other duties until the District hired a dedicated staff member. Now in its fourteenth year, Skaggs supervises the Bright Futures Carl Junction program supported by one staff member, community and student volunteers, and local funding sources. Bright Futures Carl Junction was the Affiliate of the Year in 2016.
