DeeDee Dowell feels Neosho School District is her mission field and considers it an honor to serve the most precious things of her hometown has, it’s children! Being a former hair dresser for 16 years, DeeDee is no stranger to serving the community of Neosho. She has grown up, graduated and raised her family in Neosho, alongside her husband of 34 years, who is a teacher in the district. DeeDee has served as the Bright Futures Neosho Coordinator for 5 years helping to connect the community and its resources to the students of Neosho. She is passionate about making sure every student has the tools to succeed, no matter the conditions they live with. Every child needs a champion and DeeDee goes above and beyond to recognize those in her community who choose to be the champions for Neosho students!
