Amy L. Roderick since 1991 has supported public safety in various positions. Amy began her career in 1991 with the Missouri Department of Corrections as a Probation and Parole Officer and was appointed Inspector General, administrator over criminal and internal affairs investigations unit and the intelligence unit, in March 2010. Amy has also served in the following positions throughout her career: Chief Investigator, Missouri Attorney General’s Office, Public Safety Division; Assistant Director for Safety and Transportation, Missouri State University; and as a victim advocate/investigator at Jackson County, Arkansas Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. In January 2018, Amy was appointed to a Governor’s Task Force to investigate and report on information sharing in State government. In April 2018, as Liaison to Missouri Department Public Safety (DPS), Amy began engagement with many public and private stakeholders involved in school safety and represented DPS in that capacity. In December 2019, Amy began employment with Missouri School Boards’ Association, Center for Education Safety (CES) and in January 2020 Amy began serving as the Director of CES. Amy has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Public Administration.
