The objective of this practical, hands-on session is to address the effects of professional burnout and trauma-related employment stress (BTRES) observed among those involved in school behavior threat assessment and management (BTAM). After reviewing its causes and consequences, this session will support the development of strategies and skills to address BTRES. This will include resources and practical self-care strategies, as well as guidance on when to seek additional professional help. Helpful materials and handouts will be shared with those in attendance.
