PREPaRE Workshop 1 equips participants with the tools needed to build and sustain comprehensive school safety systems. The training addresses both the physical and psychological components of safety and helps teams develop and evaluate emergency operations plans.  

Participants will have the opportunity to explore topics including emergency operations, drills, communication, reunification, supporting students with special needs and more. After the workshop, attendees will have a better understanding of how to equip their multidisciplinary teams for crisis response. 

*Participants can register for PREPaRE Workshop 1 only or choose to add the half-day Comprehensive School Safety Framework session. While each session can be taken independently, we strongly encourage attending both to gain the full benefit of the training experience. The 1.5-day experience provides participants with foundational safety knowledge and ways to help them apply their learning in the context of their own community.
