David Sollami has been with the Utah State Board of Education as an Education Specialist and Title 1 State Coordinator for over 3 years. Competing in D1 Football at Brigham Young University, and with a degree from BYU, in Psychology and a minor in Marriage Family Human Development. David started his career working with Juvenile's with Juvenile Justice and Youth Services (JJYS) in Utah. Working in JJYS for over 17 years, David started as an intern and ended that chapter in his life by running some of the largest multi-function facilities in the state for juvenile corrections. David has completed multiple accredited programs and is certified as a Certified Public Manager (CPM). David is also finding passion working in philanthropy and travels around the country, educating staff and youth on the disease of addiction, as the Executive Director for a nonprofit called "The McGee Project". David is a father of three children, coaches high school baseball, and loves to get outdoors to fish.
