I have been in education for 20 years and have worked on Safety teams in many capacities.  From Teacher and Coach to Leading Safety teams I have a passion for knowledge and find the need to create safety in schools a top priority of collaborative learning and sharing.  When I went into education I wasn't prepared to tackle the diverse issues that come in managing a community of people and keeping them safe. The use of collaboration with many stakeholders in and outside of the school has made it possible to feel confident and secure in helping protect my building while still improving and developing with our ever changing landscape that is school safety needs and mandates to secure our schools.
