Julie Holt, EdS, MS, is an Associate Director of Curriculum and Research Associate with the University of Utah’s U-TTEC Lab School-Based Mental Health Collaborative. She partners with interdisciplinary teams to design, implement, evaluate, and improve K–12 mental and behavioral health initiatives. With more than 30 years of experience as an assistant superintendent, principal, instructional coach, and district leader, she brings expertise in systems-level implementation leadership, building equitable multi-tiered systems of support, and aligning policy and practice to improve student outcomes. Her work focuses on advancing mental health capacity in rural schools and on the Navajo Nation, including integrating the Navajo Wellness Model into culturally responsive, community-informed systems. She is a founding board member of the Mountain West Mental Health Foundation and a Comprehensive School Threat Assessment (CSTAG) trainer. She is committed to strengthening school systems to achieve meaningful, high-impact outcomes for students.
