Christina Guevara began her career in 2003 as a home behavior therapist and case manager for children with autism in California. After moving to Utah in 2007, she became a 3rd-grade teacher at Spectrum Academy, where she earned her Master’s in Special Education. Over 17 years, she held various roles, including teacher, behavior specialist, principal, and academic director. She is affiliated with several groups, currently serving as a Co-Lead for the CEEDAR TAG Leadership Group and a member of the KnowledgeWorks Leadership Development Focus Group. Christina now proudly serves as an Educational Specialist for the Utah State Board of Education, focusing on designing the new Paraprofessional Behavior Training program for paraprofessionals across the state.
