Michael Reidenbach serves as the Executive Director of Security and Emergency Management for the Charleston County School District (CCSD), South Carolina's second largest school system. In this role, he leads districtwide efforts focused on school safety, security operations, emergency preparedness, crisis response, and resilience. Prior to serving as Executive Director, Michael was CCSD's Deputy Director of Security and Emergency Management. He also served as a School Resource Officer with the Mount Pleasant Police Department and as the Crime Prevention Sergeant with the Clemson University Police Department, where he specialized in campus safety and community engagement. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Master of Public Administration from Clemson University.
