Mindy Elliott, M.S., is a Prevention Specialist with the Utah State Board of Education. Bringing over 12 years of experience in the education field, Mindy began her career as an elementary counselor in the Ogden School District. In 2020, she assumed the role of District Specialist, where she led initiatives in crisis response, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), elementary counseling, attendance, positive childhood experiences, and prevention strategies targeting suicide, child abuse, and bullying. Dedicated to continuous professional development, Mindy has delivered training on trauma-informed practices, SafetyCare, Restorative Practices, Protective Factors, and Creating Safety. She is committed to fostering prevention and comprehensive support systems to empower students.
