I have been with the district for 35 years. I started full time as a Hall Monitor at Jordan High. I left Jordan and went to Jordan Resource Center as an ESP aid and mentor. When the districts split I spent a few months in Purchasing, when the Truancy Specialist job opened up in the department of Civil Rights and Accommodations I got that position. I stayed as the Truancy Specialist until 2020 when the Peer Court Program was developed. Of all the positions I have held in Canyons, Peer Court has been the most rewarding. There is a great reward knowing I have had a small part in students being successful.
