This session explores the concept of the CPTED notion of capable guardians and their role in building/maintaining a resilient campus that can face and overcome challenges. Enrolling all people with a vested interest in making and keeping students, staff and visitors as safe as they can be can significantly increase the sense of security/belonging while maintaining the sense of belonging.
