Dr. Raghu Appasani is a board-certified integrative and addiction psychiatrist, neuroscientist, and social entrepreneur. He co-founded Ginko, a doctor-backed platform helping families build healthier relationships with technology. He’s also the founder of The MINDS Foundation, a nonprofit advancing global mental health access and literacy. 

With 20+ years in mental health care, Dr. Appasani has published 35+ peer-reviewed papers, delivered 200+ global talks, and advises several wellness startups. His work has been featured in CNN, Forbes, Vogue, and The Boston Globe, and recognized by the World Economic Forum and EchoingGreen, and Arnold P Gold Humanism Honor Society.

Dr. Appasani holds a BA in Neuroscience and Behavior/Science in Society from Wesleyan University, earned his MD from UMass Medical School, completed his psychiatry residency at LAC+USC (where he served as Chief Resident), and pursued an Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at UCSF. He currently lives in San Francisco, CA and operates a concierge practice.
