Bunni Benaron completed her undergraduate studies in sociology and psychology from UCLA. Bunni went on to receive a teaching credential and taught elementary school in the South Central section of the Los Angeles School District.

After teaching for almost a decade, Bunni worked in business with her husband building a successful manufacturing company dealing with some of the largest retailers in the country including J.C Penney, WalMart, Sears and Costco.

Bunni has always been dedicated to children’s wellbeing. Bunni has a passionate commitment to promote safety and good mental health practices by making knowledge accessible to everyone, especially vulnerable children.

By starting the Hero in You Foundation and Rocket Rules, Bunni has been able to reach thousands of children across the country and help them learn how to stay safe and out of danger.

Rocket Rules is proud partners with National Association of School Resources Officers (NASRO), USC’s Safe Communities Institute, Los Angeles Police Department(LAPD), Clark County School District, Nevada, and the Los Angeles Unified School District School Police.

In addition to supporting her own foundation, Bunni contributes to many organizations including Eisenhower Hospital’s Residency Program, Loma Linda Hospital,College of the Desert, Palm Desert, UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, Crohn’s & Colitus Organization.
